The Open Game License has been a double edged sword for many of us game masters and more than a few players. What books should we allow? Should we narrow it down to a single publisher or limit player to X number of books. Not all publishers and authors are created equally some rules are truly an improvement to the game and others just add weight and everyone doesn’t have the budget to own 500 books. Allowing too many resources definitely slows the game down and using multiple publishers can lead to game imbalance quickly.
I have spent the last few nights getting everything in order to start putting this site together. I think I found a format that will work for now. It’s not my best effort at Web development but it will have to do. Though I am not a huge open source fan I am using a free version of Drupal. Hopefully this will take the head ache out of site development and allow me to begin converting several projects meant for 4th edition back to OGL 3.5. I will be open to suggestions on content once I get the rest of the site in order.
I have owned this "Vanity" domain for quite some time and after several years I thought maybe I should put something on it. I cannot say jasonstroh.com was the most creative decision but it was available at the time. I am still kicking myself for not buying section8.com when it was still available.
